Christmas is meant to be a time of celebration and joy, but if times are tough it can be challenging and isolating.
We have an opportunity for a motivated and proactive person to be part of our Christmas Cheer team. We are seeking a casual Warehouse Assistant, reporting to the Warehouse Manager. You will assist in sorting, collection, storage and co-ordination of donated goods as part of the Christmas Cheer Campaign. This position is located at our temporary warehouse in Toowong.
Please note, this will be a temporary position, operating from mid-late November 2024 through to early January 2025.
You will successfully
  • Assist the Warehouse Manager with the coordination of warehouse and other donation activities
  • Provide high-quality customer service
  • Prioritise tasks and manage time effectively
You will have
  • Experience in customer service or community services industries
  • Solid level of computer literacy and basic bookkeeping
  • Sound presentation and communication skills (both oral and written)
  • A valid Qld driver's licence
  • Willingness to undergo a National Police Check
Nice to have
  • Proven experience in the recycling/transport industry would be highly desirable
