The Service Reliability Engineering (SRE) Architect is responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining the reliability and scalability of the organization's IT infrastructure and services. This role involves working closely with development, operations, and product teams to ensure that services are reliable, scalable, and efficient. The SRE Architect will lead efforts to automate and optimize processes, implement monitoring and alerting systems, and develop strategies for incident response and disaster recovery.

Key Skills and Qualifications:

  • Technical Expertise: Strong knowledge of cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP), containerization (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes), and infrastructure as code (e.g., Terraform, Ansible).

  • Programming and Scripting: Proficiency in programming and scripting languages such as Python, Go, Bash, or similar.

  • Monitoring and Logging: Experience with monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, Splunk, or similar.

  • Automation and CI/CD: Experience with automation tools and CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, CircleCI).

  • Incident Management: Strong problem-solving skills and experience with incident management and root cause analysis.

  • Performance Tuning: Knowledge of performance tuning and optimization techniques for various systems and applications.

  • Collaboration and Communication: Excellent collaboration and communication skills. Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.

  • Documentation: Strong documentation skills. Ability to create clear and concise technical documentation.

  • Education and Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Relevant certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Google Cloud Professional Cloud Architect) are a plus. Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role.
