About the opportunity

As our Retail Postage Sorter, you’ll play an important part in keeping millions of Australians connected. As you’d expect, plenty of mail comes through our Post Offices and delivery facilities every day – and our mail sorting teams make sure every delivery gets where it needs to.

• Adult Pay Rate $27.04 per hour increases to $28.91 per hour after 3 months + 12% Superannuation
• Working Monday - Friday, 15 hours per week, 3 hours per day between the hours of 5:00AM - 5:00PM
• Extensive, supportive training on commencement, from Monday - Friday, a 4- 5 hour shift daily for initial 8 weeks
• Relief team members will be assigned shifts at various Post Offices within a specific area, so you must be willing to work at the following locations. Buddina, Caloundra, Sippy Downs, Mooloolaba, Maroochydore BC, Buderim & Maleny

You’ll be:

• Manually sorting all mail arriving at the workplace
• Sorting and distributing mail into relevant PO Boxes
• Assisting and/or performing administrative duties such as stocktaking and record maintenance

About you

You’re friendly, enthusiastic and reliable and you love the balance of working in a team environment and autonomously. You’re motivated by the opportunity to help make a difference to your community. You'll also need to:

• Call upon your memory and hand-eye coordination while sorting
• Be fit to lift up to 16kgs of mail regularly and stand for your shift
