Job Summary
Ramp Service Agents and Baggage Handlers are essential to the seamless functioning of airport operations, working behind the scenes to ensure everything runs smoothly. This role provides a unique opportunity to work directly on the airport tarmac, engaging in tasks such as sorting, loading, and unloading baggage and cargo, providing cabin cleaning services, and assisting with aircraft pushback.
In this dynamic and safety-focused environment, employees will encounter a variable schedule aligned with airline timetables, including early mornings, late shifts, and weekends. This flexibility is crucial to maintaining the efficiency and reliability of airport operations.

Your activities
  • Load and unload aircraft baggage efficiently.
  • Safely transfer luggage to and from aircraft.
  • Handle baggage weighing up to 35kg repetitively.
  • Operate in various weather conditions and confined spaces.
  • Collaborate with team members to maintain smooth operations, including sorting, loading, and unloading baggage and cargo accurately.
  • Manage baggage flow for departing and arriving flights using sorting equipment and manual handling techniques effectively.
Your profile
  • Flexibility to work across a 7-day roster, 24 hours a day.
  • Good physical fitness for lifting up to 32kg.
  • Ability to perform repetitive tasks for extended periods.
  • Basic to intermediate computer skills.
  • Thrive in a fast-paced environment with a strong emphasis on safety.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Strong work ethic and eagerness to learn and grow.
  • Australian Citizen/Resident with unlimited work rights.
  • Possession of a valid Australian driver's license and reliable transportation.
  • Must be 18 years of age or older.
