We have a position available at Invicta Mill based in the Burdekin Region, approx. 40 minutes south of Townsville. The role will suit someone who is self-motivated and doesn't need close supervision. Previous experience is desirable and we will provide training for a person who displays the right aptitude and team fit.

Job Vacancy

As part of the team, this position will provide a supply service including receipting, issuing and storage of store stock. Compliance with all safety standards is a high priority.

Key duties:

This position will be responsible for ensuring the effective execution of stores processes on site.

Main duties include but are not limited to:

• Reporting on supplier performance
• Operating the forklift if qualified and authorised to do so
• Ensuring availability of maintenance spares and equipment
• Issue goods from stock using system and process requirements.
• Processing inwards goods receipts.
• Carrying out the cyclic stocktake plan.
• Record and report stock outs
• Ensure all bin locations and store areas are kept clean and tidy at all times.
• Ensure store security is maintained
• Ensure that dangerous goods are handled in accordance with SDS

The Successful Applicant

Desirable Criteria:

• Previous stores/warehousing experience
• High level of attention to detail
• SAP Materials Management experience
• HRW Forklift Licence

• Excel and word experience advantageous but not essential
• Sugar industry experience advantageous but not essential
