Responsibilities

• Lead, guide, and support the site engineering and operations team to ensure their responsibilities are executed
• Work closely with a diverse team to develop and implement effective maintenance and capital strategies
• Monitor and manage team performance.
• Develop and coordinate the weekly schedule and contribute to the long term program review
• Coordinate resources required for maintenance and capital works including breakdown/shutdowns.
• In-field fault finding and rectification
• Monitor and manage team safety and quality compliance

The Successful Candidate

We are seeking motivated individual with Trade Qualifications ( Boilermaking) and previous leadership experience who can effectively communicate, influence and negotiate at all levels. You will be able to successfully engage and motivate a team towards common goals to achieve performance targets and business goals. You will hold tertiary or trade qualifications in a mechanical discipline or be able to demonstrate practical experience within the sugar industry or similar heavy industrial environments.
