Employer of choice in the Redlands seeking an IT Service Management Officer for an initial 6-week contract.

Your new company
Hays have partnered with a thriving local council in Brisbane's south to appoint a Service Desk Analyst to an initial 6-week contract, with a good chance of extension. If you're in-between roles, or local to the Redlands, this is one you don't want to miss!

Your new role
As the Service Desk Analyst, your daily duties will involve:

  • Provide exceptional quality first line support by responding to incidents and service requests utilising ITIL service methodologies
  • Collaborate with peers to install and configure computer hardware and peripherals, and train junior staff when required
  • Assist in the technical implementation of information management strategies, products, migrations and enhancements
  • Contribute to the development and continuous improvement of our client's service desk procedures and documentation

What you'll need to succeed
You will require a minimum of 6-months working experience in a similar role, a strong understanding of ITSM and MS365, and be available to commence on 30/09/24. You will also require exceptional communication skills, and a demonstrated ability to prioritise your time and achieve deadlines.

What you'll get in return
You'll be offered an initial 6-week contract, with view for extension in a fantastic office location in the Redlands. You'll be remunerated between $35-$40/hour + superannuation, and offered weekly pay cycles with no hidden agency fees.
