The successful applicant will be responsible for the following duties, subject to the needs of the business:

• Perform start up and shut down of station
• Inspect, record, notify, and report on the condition of all outside plant - boiler and auxiliary plant, temperatures, pressures and bin levels.
• Check lubricant levels and carry out lubrication duties
• Operate the feedwater treatment system including, collecting and analysing and recording water samples.
• Assist clearing of choked feeders, hoppers and chutes.
• Monitor / operator ash system, associated equipment, furnaces, grates, ash sluices.

The successful applicant:

• Hold a 'C' class drivers license
• Able to obtain or already have the following tickets
  • Turbine ticket
  • Boiler ticket
  • Doggers ticket
  • Mobile crane non-slewing
  • Front End loader
  • Forklift
