Job Summary
Job Description
The Senior Digital Analytics & Performance Lead you will flex between championing digital journey analytics to technical data layer configurations as well as the constructure of commentary presented to business leaders. Working collaboratively with Digital Product Owners and User Experience Designers, the role plays a pivotal role in driving online conversion rate optimisations (CRO) and customer journey insights.
You will also be an active custodian of Belong’s marketing technologies including Adobe Analytics, Adobe Launch, Adobe Target and Adobe Audience Manager. This includes the technical maintenance and operation of the MarTech stack to ensure best practice event tagging, datalayer configurations, audience management and experimentation tracking.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Draw on your extensive experience across digital technology platforms and journey optimisation techniques to Identify key actionable insights through the analysis of web data and translation into clear commercial recommendations
  • Facilitate discovery sessions to incubate ideas that resolve customer journey pain points, and raise the quality of the overall digital experience
  • Authentically engage and establish relationships with interdepartmental stakeholders, driving alignment and providing thought leadership across digital and customer experience teams
  • Assist the planning and measurement of new experimentations, including the assessment of uplift expectations and reporting configurations through Adobe Target
  • Lead data layer implementation with technical teams, to ensure Adobe Analytics data is collected correctly for new digital feature and enterprise product launches
  • Develop, maintain, and evolve prospect and customer segmentation usage of Adobe Audience Manager
  • Guide continuous improvements of Belong’s measurement framework and tracking capabilities to ensure the right insight is available at the right time to the right person
  • Serve as a trusted advisor by presenting findings at showcase meetings to improve analytical knowledge and outcomes for Belong’s broader team members
  • Help the uplift assessment of digital experience initiatives and priority decisions through business case support and accurate data provisions
  • Drive a digital best practice and optimisation mindset that supports peers and team members to continually improve quality digital experiences at scale
  • Act as a champion for Agile practices and mindsets when working within Telstra’s and Belong’s Agile operating model
About you
To be successful in the role, you will have:
  • Demonstrated experience leveraging data sets to identity opportunities and improve organisational performance
  • Experience in using data tracking and reporting tools such as Adobe Analytics, Power BI or other relevant platforms
  • Strong familiarity with web architecture including data layer enhancements and tag management platforms, in particular Adobe Launch
  • Well-developed presentation skills that can highlight insights and influence others
  • Ability to articulate and brief technical requirements in a clear and concise manner
  • A passion for data including data architecture and data quality
  • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
  • Proven ability to analyse and synthesis digital data into actionable insights
  • Telecommunications industry experience will be advantageous
  • Experience with web programming languages such as html, JavaScript and other frameworks like jQuery will also be advantageous
