Summary

The Assistant F&B Operations Manager (Beverage) may be responsible for all beverage services within the hotel. Responsibilities may include managing employees, training, forecasting, and scheduling.

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinating daily bar management operations
  • Deliver superior food and beverage service and maximizing customer satisfaction
  • Respond efficiently and accurately to bar customers
  • Delegate responsibilities and supervise business operations
  • Support in hiring, training, motivating, and coaching employees as they provide attentive, efficient service to customers, assess employee performance and provide helpful feedback and training opportunities
  • Resolving conflicts or complaints from customers and employees
  • Monitoring store inventories activity and ensuring proper provisions
  • Support Operations Managers to manage procurement/purchasing, vendor relations
  • Provide effective and efficient processes and strategies to evolve revenues and controls on expenses (generate and manage cost reports)
  • Support Operations Managers to establish and achieve business and profit objectives – Financial responsibility of bars
  • Ensure staff members follow company policies and procedures
  • Operating equipment responsibility
  • Other duties to ensure the overall health and success of the business
  • Creativity: Beverage Program. Assis in developing an extensive beverage program, which includes what types of drinks to offer, which brands of liquor to use, pricing, and other menu aspects. This includes creating wine lists, beer selections, and cocktail items.

Qualifications

Requirements:

  • Proven Leadership skills.
  • Proven Food and Beverage management experience (Beverage management)
  • Preferred F&B school diploma or degree in service management or related field
  • Bartending skills
  • Up to date with beverage trends and best practices
  • Communication, leadership skills, coaching, and conflict resolution skills
  • Commitment to providing exceptional service to customers and support to staff members
  • Working knowledge of various computer software programs (MS Office, restaurant management software, POS)
  • Ability to spot and resolve problems efficiently - conflict resolution
  • Ability to manage personnel and meet financial targets
  • Guest-oriented and service-minded
  • Marketing base knowledge
  • Fluent in English and other languages
