Your activities
As the Accounts Payable / Data Entry Officer, you will be responsible for processing and payment of accounts payable, and providing assistance to the broader Accounts Payment Team Lead and Finance Manager as required.

This role is a 12 Month Maternity Leave position on a Permanent Part-Time basis (office based) which can be managed over negotiated 3-5 days - ideal around school hours!
  • Provide assistance to Accounts Payable Team Finance Manager as required.
  • Assist with development and documentation of robust AP systems & processes.
  • Responding to queries in a timely manner.
  • Proactive follow up with stations to ensure PO’s are raised and goods & services appropriately receipted.
  • Accurate and timely processing of invoices: Input invoices into the financial system ensuring the coding has been entered correctly and due dates for payment are correct.
  • This is an entry level role that has potential to develop within the finance team for the right candidate seeking career opportunity.

Your profile
  • Experience with accounts payable is ideal.
  • Work well within a team with minimum supervision.
  • Customer focused and ability to build rapport.
  • Excellent focus to detail, and a high level of communication.
  • Complete required tasks in an accurate and timely manner.
  • Experience in:
    • Accounting knowledge – basic understanding required.
    • Microsoft Office – Excel – at least basic skills required.
